A FORMER BOY BAND STAR PASSES AWAY
Sad news today. Rich Cronin from the pop band LFO passed away last night after a long fight with leukemia. He was just 35 years old. You may remember LFO who reached fame back in the late 90s with their hit Summer Girls and Girl on TV.
TOM BRADY IN AN ACCIDENT
In some other news… New England quarterback Tom Brady was just in a car accident this morning in Boston. Good news is that he was unharmed but the other people involved in the collision were taken to the hospital and the Jaws of Life needed to be used to free the passenger. After the accident Brady was shaken but still reported for work at Gilette Stadium. Well let’s hope the other people involved are okay.

AN SNL DEBUT FOR A CALIFORNIA GURL
The 36th season of Saturday Night Live will be kicking off on September 25th and Katy Perry announced via her twitter, of course, that she’ll be making her SNL debut – joining Amy Poehler who will return to the show for her hosting debut! She even pleaded on her twitter to join Amy Poehler in a skit. Sounds fun!
LARRY KING'S REPLACEMENT
Larry King’s been hosting Larry King Live since 1985 and he announced this summer that he’ll be retiring from the show. Today we learned that Piers Morgan will be taking over Kings primetime slot on CNN hosting a candid, in-depth newsmaker interview program” which will begin in January.

A VAMPIRE ON THE ENTOURAGE SET
Okay all you on Team Edward listen up! Robert Pattinson is slated to guest star on the current season of Entourage! He’s evidentially being cast as Ari’s most difficult client ever. Interesting, so set your Tivo’s for September 12th which is when the episode, titled Lose Yourself, is supposed to air.
THE GAGA POLARIOD COMING SOON
So some of you may remember that Lady Gaga was named Creative Director at Polaroid Imaging Products and next year we’ll see what she’s been working on. It’ll be an analog Polaroid camera but details about the camera haven’t been released yet though the design has been described as “pretty wacky” but appealing to her fans. Fun! I’ll probably get one.

NEW KINGS OF LEON ON THE HORIZON
Kings of Leon have a new album coming out called “Come Around Sundown” which will be released on October 19th and we can also look forward to their first single titled Radioactive to hit the internet next week. The video for the song will hit the bands website on Wednesday, September 8th. Come Around Sundown contains 13 songs some of which you may have heard on the bands recent tour.

Word on the street is that Bon Jovi have been offered a multimillion dollar residency at a Las Vegas hotel. No word yet as to if they’re gonna do it or not but it sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me!
KANYE WEST - MOVIE STAR?
Kanye West’s new album is coming out soon and sources are speculating that he may have something different up his sleeve. He recently tweeted “just wrapped for the day. Been shooting 16 hour days. I’m so excited… it’s like a child’s delusions become reality!” which suggests that he’s working on a movie companion which’ll be released with his CD. Interesting!!!
